I was assuming Kartein planted something into Astra’s core that he could detonate or manipulate when/if he double crossed him. I’m almost disappointed to see Kayden save the day again.
Why don’t I surprise that Kayden will come and save the day…Totally not because he had done it 20 times over the course of the story. Man, this really makes me think that the author either can’t write his character out of trouble without the use of Kayden, or this is just a dumb fanservice thing. What is the point of the story if Kayden just gonna solve every single conflict that appears? This not only down plays the strength of all the other characters but Kayden becomes too convenient of a plot device.
Im so over this…. its just fan fiction now. Somehow the the daddy couple has hijacked the MC position.

I was going to say.. There’s no way the author is willing to cripple the legs of Kartein after all that effort to make him one of the most handsome characters in Eleceed. I got worried for a second since Kartein seemed to use all his trump cards without succeeding. So glad our maniacal pikachu has showed up.
I don’t think Kayden is stronger than this guy anymore, he was a top 10 even before his upgrade so now he must be stupid strong
