Ahh~ The cognitive dissonance of the Hypocrite. “Dragons are Evil!” Meanwhile humans exterminated them and many other species and are extremely cruel to each other. Humans here are more evil than Demons in other series lol
Also, the Gods of this world are vile assholes. They helped and possibly incited humans to exterminate dragons and then dared to use the dragons to protect people, Ray included.
The author will probably turn that around and say it was the dark guild that incited humans because dragons were an obstacle but every clue points towards being all the God’s doing.
This story seem to be heading for a tragic ending. Like, Ray quit his revenge and is literally protecting the beings he’s supposed to hate. The dragon race can’t come back, it seems. (author shows no intention) and Ray is being used without realizing and highly probable will get sacrificed in the end. Or he will end up alone either because his companions perished or because he can’t connect with human females.
