I hate some things here like changing mc name ray into lei like that it somewhat confusing and not quite good because Ray was far better than the name Lei ( from my point of view )
Still entertaining as of chapter 196 but series does get messier, chapters and all.
This story seem to be heading for a tragic ending. Ray quit his revenge and is literally protecting the beings he’s supposed to hate. The dragon race can’t come back, it seems. (author shows no intention) and Ray is being used without realizing and highly probable will get sacrificed in the end. Or he will end up alone either because his companions perished or because he can’t connect with women.
There’s this constant cognitive dissonance: “Dragons are Evil!” but humans exterminated them and many other species and are extremely cruel to each other.
The Gods of this world are vile assholes. They helped and possibly incited humans to exterminate dragons and then dared to use the dragons to protect people, Ray included.
The author will probably turn that around and say it was the dark guild that incited humans because dragons were an obstacle but every clue points towards being all the God’s doing.
From Ray’s perspective, this is actually quite messed up. I would give up, to at least show my finger to the gods. “I ain’t your tool!”

Overall the characters have a decent amount of development, and the powers are neat and the MC is strong but the powers don’t feel cohesive.
My main complaint is world building and plot. Basically the MC is prophesied to be good or bad so the bad guys want to kill MC. Who are they? I still don’t really know. 95% of the story is spent at an academy which feels like it houses a total of 20 people total, and there’s apparently a big war happening, except that you wouldn’t be able to tell except by a teacher mentioning it like twice. Who are they at war with? I don’t know. Why is the war important to the plot? I don’t know.
The rating was higher when I started reading, I’m glad it went down. I do not recommend this unless you have absolutely nothing else decent to read.

Chapters are so short this site has added 46 more chapters to it. On other sites there are only 86 chapters because there full chapters, it’s pretty pathetic when you are so desperate for viewership that you take a full length chapter and break it down to 3-4 chapters just so it can seem like your site has more.

Make a lore where a dragon main protagonist does not lose itself being a dragon.
