Kind of meh. I get that author is trying to show that the MC is a considerate leader and still had his humanity, but at the same time what he did will show that humans can ally themselves with him and might cause dependency on him..
I personally liked it when he was just a separate force from humans who couldn’t be messed with and who humans had to constantly consider as a threat… I guess it might be interesting to see a human village as well in the forest, I guess.
Did we just forget about the tree heart that was supposedly able to resurrect yu zi and all his companions?
