Author actually wrote that locust are easy to kill by shooting it with a gun? What kind of analogy even is that?
Of course they are easy to kill by shooting (if you manage to hit one), guns in general are designed to be effective towards targets than can easily be hundreds of times larger and thousands of time heavier than average locust is.
It’s like saying we got some wolfs out there in the nearby forest, they are so easy to kill even with a 155mm howitzer (if one wanted to make such massive overkill).
I think this is the place I find something else to read, this was not that good, but at least I got this far in this bit baffling power fantasy which did not make too much sense.
