I completely forgot about the ring.
I remember Jonathan’s reaction being really off when he picked that up after the assasination banquet, but it wasn’t brought up at all during his betrayal so I completely forgot about it’s existence.
It’s good to know it wasn’t completely his fault, though I feel like the whole thing about the ring was poorly narrated.
