For the other guild members, it might be different, but MC has been with them while they were (presumably) Level 1 and if he took back all exp they gained from their time with him so using a little bit of math he got 4 times the original exp for the currently impossible equation here:
[The symbol “^” is the replacement of “to the power of” for people that don’t get it I’ll give an example equation: “2^4” or “2 to the power of 4” both of those equations are the exact same and of course equal “16” since “2 * 2 * 2 * 2” or the simplified version “4 * 4” equals “16”.]
{This equation assumes all the party members levels were 1 when MC joined, he split exp equally even though he didn’t, all monsters give the exact same exp value and levels cannot be decreased.}
???^2 * ???^???^4^???^2 = ??? + 1
to break it down and tell you what they each mean:
“???^2” Is the original EXP gained and the increase by his skill.
“???^???^4^???” The first part “???^” is the base value of EXP needed for your level to rise, the next part “???^4^” is the levels they gained, the last part “???” is the EXP increase for a level to rise after leveling up.
“^2” is the increase of him retrieving the EXP they gained from him.

So the MC actually seems to have a backbone by quitting…
but why didn’t he quit earlier if they treated him that badly? just so they could rack up some more exp points for him? if so then all cred to him for sticking it out with the long term plan to get out with all the exp points – less impressed if it was because he somehoe liked the party and thought they were all so good friends…

On another note, please no harem.
I’m tired of MCs getting 2 trillion little girls, catgirls, slave girls, foxgirls, 1000 years old loli dragon girls, princesses, harem harem harem harem harem harem minutes after being removed from their party.
It’s gotten boring to the point that I almost fall asleep when it happens for the nth time…

Heh. The MC gave him multiple chances to correct their mistakes, or even kill him before he could take back all his experience.
He clearly said “If I take back the experience you’ve gained from my skill, it’s going to affect you guys too, right?”
This is a supermassive warning bell, one that absolutely shouldn’t have been ignored at all. They are all aware that he MULTIPLIES the experience gained by the party, and if the bar in the previos fragment of a chapter was accurate, it’s like 5 times the total experience they were supposed to get (I’m assuming the bar is accurate, could be twice, could be 10 times, I don’t know since I didn’t read the novel if it exists).
Depending on how much the experience required to level up increases every level, and how much they gained thanks to the MC, they migth end up losing 20%, 50%, or even more of their levels, while the MC will undoubtely reach a level much much higher than theirs.
I don’t know how many people benefited from this gift, but I saw 14 windows that he brought out before crushing them.
If there is a level cap in this world, I’m almost certain the MC has just reached it, while everyone else in that guild got nerfed to the ground.
They will definitely realize soon what terrible mistake they just made
