So from what I understtod, people who use the ability of the MC don’t gain any experience at all. All the Experience goes to the MC, who multiplies it, then distributes it however he likes to his party members. So if he ever decides to take everything back, their experience and levels will return to the same level they were before being boosted by the MC.
At least that’s the only way to make sense of it. Because if they still gain some experience on top of whatever is given by the MC, they would still be stronger than the starting point when the MC joined, but nope, they are back to their previous levels.
Using the ability of the MC means you give up to the experience you gain by yourself, it all belongs to the MC and he is the one who gets to choose who to give it to, and if to ever take it back.
In other words, they are doomed.
