Speed = momentum, momentum = force, force = huge damage. W father figure master
Technically, no. Speed x Mass = momentum. Momentum has the same units as Force x Time. When something with high speed collides with something else, the force that pushes them against each other is what causes damage. For example, if you are hit by a ball, the normal force between you and the ball is what causes it to stop, as well as what causes you to be hurt. The time is also important. If the momentum change is spread out over a long time, then the force during that time is low. If it is in a short time, then the force during that time is high. For example, if you jump off a tall building, you have a very high velocity and therefore high momentum right before you hit the ground. If the ground is just brick pavement or something solid, then the time might be 0.01 seconds, and 200 units of momentum would turn into 20000 Newtons of force, killing you. However, if it is a mattress or something soft, the time might be, say, 2 seconds, turning 200 units of momentum into 100 Newtons of force, which is much less than 20000.

Although I don’t want to be that guy, but battering ram are one of the slowest siege engines. It works based on momentum and pressure, and it definitely doesn’t have terrifying speed…
This is just to clarify the mistake I noticed, I am not complaining

I’m actually kinda glad he lost, it changes my opinion of this from a generic manhua to a more well developed, it allows the characters inside the book to grow more and grow better, it also shows actual emotions, which are hard to come by nowadays in op mc stories, so it makes the main character much better
