Fist Demon of Mount Hua

After reading 164 chapters:

What i love:
-the art. Almost nothing of those boring generic backgrounds, real, unique drawings that capture the eye and is worth looking at
-the limp of the mc. The discrimination and harassment he meets is still a real thing, and stories that shows the immature cruelty of looking at other people with that kind of scorn is a very good thing. As his friend says, some have disabilities in their hearts, some in their body. And so what?

As so many of these murim hero-stories it starts out very nicely, good characters that it is easy to relate to, like and it pulls you in.

A familiar topic in so many of these Manhwas: those sects and families talked about as good seldom are. In this manhwa even more than most they jump to violence if they do not get the privileges and servitude their extreme egos seem to think they deserve. Our man, the mc, does not give them what they want, which leads to many, many, many violent confrontations.

Speaking for just myself after having read many such stories now, I get easily bored when it develops into endless fighting and killings, intrigues, conflicts between a lot of parties, sects and families. I loose interest because it does not seem there is any more to it than just that, repetitive fighting that could as easily been the fighting and killing from 10 other similar stories, and it brings nothing new or intriguing to the table at all. The more there is, the more boring it gets.

But that is after having read so many of this kind and not caring much for that trope. I do find this manwha to be among my favorites of its kind, if not the top of the list one I will remember and cherish.
