the slap was satisfying but tbh she deserved death imo, while its kinda like commandeering a vehicle that police do sometimes, its not like theyre running from a bunch of murderers who will kill all witnesses, so i really dont think she should get away with just a slap, at least an arm or a leg right?

From a realistic perspective, her actions made sense. She was wounded, being hunted by assassins, and her partner had literally given his life so she could get back and call for reinforcements. Grabbing a horse wasn’t some grave crime, it was the only way she could keep running.
The slaughter at the ranch wasn’t on her, it was on the assassins. If she had just taken the horse, the killers would’ve chased her and nobody else would have died.
But nah, y’all just parrot ‘MC slapped her, so she deserved it.’ That’s not analysis, that’s blind worship. The only reason the MC can live by those ideals is because he’s strong enough to enforce them. Expecting a regular warrior to act the same is like blaming a random guy for not catching a crashing plane with his bare hands.
Think for yourselves, don’t just nod along every time the protagonist throws a punch.
