Smelling and enjoying the smell of you food savoring it is another wonderful pleasure youncan enjoy before you even eat… also it stimulates biochemical receptors that help with digestion of the food you are smelling…
Yet alot of people will look at you funny if you do it in modern world because they DON’T smell their food… or chew properly, or bother savoring the food. Just scarf it down lol…
So when they finish and you are still smelling and savoring the taste of each bite with plenty left they are jealous… and envious so attack to try and reduce your enjoyment, since you are clearly smarter and happier than them…
