Ok so basically ok yeon has used some kind of jiangshi technique to bring back old subordinates, and is using some kind of “demonic pill” in ampoule form to provide strength to the modern people?

This makes no sense and I have a sneaking suspicion the cause of everything (so many Murim in modern times, the ampules, the blonde villains reasoning) is going to be an EXTREME let down caused by the author not having a solid outline and just winging it as they go along.
