My guess is that, instead of the indulgent paradise like the others got, its just going to be a peaceful place where they can simply live away from the chaos going on right now.
While this could be another bait and switch, I’m hoping this is real given that
1: He has no grudge against these people
2: They are truly pure
3: He didn’t have his fake happy face on the whole time.

It seems like his “true” face has been twisted by insanity, judging by the black rings around his eyes and the fact that they seem empty and broken. So when it shows, whether it is relishing in his enemies suffering or interacting with the few good people, he is being honest and true. My guess is that this is one of the few instances where he is even still able to do genuine good deeds at this point. He is wholly consumed by his revenge by this point, and there isn’t much of the hero he once was left besides that. I don’t believe he will have a good ending for himself after his revenge is finished, but in times like this we can see a glimpse of the person he once was. That kind young boy who loved his sister and truly wanted to save the world, he is twisted, but he isn’t totally gone.

Also, I really want to know what happens with the King and the demon girl though.
