Panel on right is the Marquis who is looking ashamed saying “What a humiliating report. To make it worse, The Yerineta Army prioritized a mysterious third party over me.”
Top left panel is her saying “You also claim that you saw several wyverns fall from the sky in an instant, without a single trace of magic…”. Followed by her angry glare.
Next panel is ashamed Marquis and the older brother looking shocked with her continuing “…had it not been for Baron Van’s assistance.. Our forces would have been wiped out completely.”
They react with a “!?” over their shocked expressions.
Then it proceeds to the older brother panel saying “V…Van!?” and you see the rest.
Called it last chapter.
He was crying because he know he did the right choice of protecting his brother. Dude is a goat in my book.
