I’m just say I’m lost. The first time the author did a flashback, Jirou was painted as lively, energetic and willing do whatever to make Shiori smile. Promising to be there to protect her. Yet this flashback he is more him acting all timid and to scared to express his feelings. Literally pushing her away. This is just adding to confusion. The misunderstanding has happened, and the past is gone, people have changed. So what now?
