If following the rl wisdom, that wudang oldman won’t reach the master level/enlightened because attempt to read the world is not the way and even if you can you cant go beyond universe level. The only path is path of no self so you use senses with the “senses” of not yours, rather, with your/all’s of Origin’s. This us the difference between materialism and no self. Materialism can’t go beyond since it has attachment to a separation idea. And the man monk also can’t go because of MC.
