So “they” was a “she”, and Panda-boy knew her sex from the get-go. I really hate this “let’s obscure the sex of a character by using the third-person plural pronoun even when the character’s sex is known by the speaker” trope. It’s like saying “get THAT THING” rather than just naming the thing in question.
I don’t know if it’s a translator/localizer thing, or an actual feature of Oriental languages, but it’s annoying as all get-out.
Wish every fiction makes their romantic relationship/interest private. This chapter is kinda childish, just because it’s a female and someone MC knows, everyone making a fuss and making a baseless guess. Sure, this might be a joke but not everyone adopts this kind of joke culture.

Yeah, this is the limit for me. The MC it’s just a strong immortal, he doesn’t use the shapeshift ability one single time. In the beginning he was trying hard to get a girlfriend, now he rejects every single woman. The plot has nowhere to go now, it’s like an endless filler arc
