Aren’t immortals way more sensitive than shapeshifters? Including smell? How can he smell it when his senses are weaker than a pureblood immortals’ ?

I would really like to see the mc learning magic. If Kinam can do it so can he right? He won’t have great private tutors like in Kinam’s family but still. Very basic spells?
