Ngl I prefer the anime pacing over this one, this moment doesnt feel as warranted or impactful because they’ve been a party for literally 2 quests by now. Swapping this arc and the one after makes it so much better

Just commenting on (yet another) read-through to say how much I love page 34. Everything starting from “He did not let the gods roll the dice” through to “… even the gods did not know how his adventures would end”.
The idea that, with enough patience, training, and willpower, luck is removed entirely from any equation is honestly an appealing one.

I like this story for the fact it isn’t really based off luck but more of skill and experience like with the scroll he didn’t pull it out of his ass but he always had it and they even showed it before the whole ogre fight
