What I appreciate is he appeared in this world and did not get a quest. He just tries to figure his own path in this new world through experience. Really feels like an isekai.

I would not have purified it… Imagine if the fairies were actually such terrifying creatures that the monsters feeling their presence would be repeled by it. imagine if that gate was inactive but if ony the remaining trace of manig in it was enough for the monster to be afraid.

Or, what if he purified its magical proprieties.

Either way, I love how long the chapters are, great story so far
