“I Refuse to… Journey” may as well be one of the most “realistic” isekais out there to read. For some reason, it reminds me a little of death march without the overpoweredness. Though as realistic as it gets, it’s pretty boring. The mc progresses slowly and forms relations slowly while not doing anything flashy. Of course, this formula is one of the fundamentals for slow life mangas which is why there’s nothing exciting going on. Each chapter is bundles of information, and I mindlessly scroll past the panels of information. I only then go back if I missed an important plot point. Well, even though the story is a slow life manga in disguise and the art is subpar, it has some unique flare. The mc is fifteen so there is no sexualization with any females and his personality is on the more realistic sides which adds a bit of comedy. It’s not a bad manga but nothing to look forward to.
