This is so dumb. MC agrees with his mom and spares her father BECAUSE it would create conflict with the entire kingdom. Then immediately after, he severely injures the CROWN PRINCE, obviously creating conflict with the entire kingdom. At that point he might as well have killed them all.
All of that for a “hey look at me!” Kind of event… Lol I guess the story need a drive somewhere…
