I’m curious what were these 50k manticores (all obligate carnivores, and huge at that) were eating in that small valley all that time? They’d wipe out all potential food base in no time.

Don’t think any land or title was discussed with the king so isn’t it a bit presumptuous of him to assume he will get this village as his own?
