I can’t help but wonder where, if anywhere, the story of Kane is going to go now…
- The Demon Lord is defeated
- The Dark Goddess is Kane’s daughter
- There’s increasingly peace and cooperation between all the races
- There’s no more war between the larger nations, or possibly any nations
- Kane’s true love is still a goddess and still to weak to manifest again, and might never again
- There’s no LIs we can reasonably expect to actually get together with Kane
We might be nearing the end of the series. The only question is how it gets wrapped up.
I think it’d be nice if he got to become a god himself and spend eternity with his love
