At least we know he is stronger now that the freaks who were humaliating him at the beginning of the story 
My question in all those this is, what exactly Heavenly Demon doing all this time? His first disciple is dealing with righteous sect, sending cult followers to be slaughtered, which is considered a big taboo. His 3rd disciple got killed in a most shameful fashion & 1st disciple gaining support from elders akin to his own self. Yet there is no mention on Heavenly Demon doing anything at all.
Is he in a long seclusion that I missed?

I like that hes not JUST OP hes still nerfed and it works well
i mean the obvious thing to do is to gather a life time of knowledge, elixirs, weapons, and gear, then just kys and load the first save since he can stash important stuff in his inventory retain his enlightenment. 😂 hopefully part 3 comes sooner than later..
