Getting better, but for the love of God can we please stop with these excessive internal dialogues? He was going to say the stuff he was internally thinking anyway. 
The only thing that bugs me is both times his first 2 choices failed and he was pretty much forced to pick the last option. It’s not good storytelling if that keeps on happening because then it shows the main character’s choices were just an illusion and that’s poor spelling. But I’m hoping that changes in the future, pretty good read so far.
