Granted the achievements and what the brother and sister did shouldnt be taken away from them just for the horrible acts of the mother but i dont feel sorry for them either because they knew exactly what was happening and chose to do nothing

How nobody questions that a 16 y/o dude is wearing the clothes of a 6y/o kid and they fit perfectly apart for being maybe a bit short in the legs?
Seriously, this writer has zero attention to details.
This is the first story I read in my life where every single chapter since from the first I feel “what a bunch of unbelievable cr@p”.
