Summary
A brief description of the manga Hero of the Rebellion: Use Your Skills to Control the Mind and Body of the Maddened Princess:
When Sasahara Shinta was suddenly summoned to another world with the objective of subjugating the Demon Lord, he makes full use of his cheat skill that sees people’s status and tries taking a look at the Princess who summoned him, but when he did, it says that the Hero is arranged to be assassinated after the Demon Lord’s subjugation.
That’s right, this is a shitty otherworld where the Hero’s life is treated like dirt.
To avoid being assassinated, Shinta pretends to submit, but…

This is a great punishment/revenge manga with a kinky side. It’s just categorized wrong and needs a mature tag so that whiny, easily triggered folks don’t stumble upon it and leave judgmental comments. Honestly the Author should just go full hentai on this one as then it won’t have to make any apologies for what it is and they can tell the story exactly how they want.
dropped its taking to long for him to get free and japanese manga release schedules aren’t helping
This manga is another one that proves the “villains” were right to do what they planned. MC is the horny rapist they feared.
where is the 18+? this is clearly not something for all age… not that i dislike of course
After reading 7 chapters, it really comes down to the con job versus the con job. It is extremely lewd and should be rated at 18 plus and in today’s society I will put this in – WARNING: if you are triggered by r*pe or slavery or the hint there of, skip this manga and do not post comments as no one wants to read how silly you sound or worse. This manga is like an uncut jewellery gem, there is glimmers of hope but its covered through moral issues, dark feelings, shitty personalities, fake-ness and just a lot of bull shit in general. Dialogue is not heavy so far but it is just one step away from that as it does do a lot of non-action discussions. The flow is easy, not fast or slow, with the storyline at this point in time firmly fixed on hero versus everyone else. I am not going to be book marking this manga as I can not see the plot meshing together properly with both of their duties (hero and second princess). What I can speculate on happening is that they fall in love with each other but still try to one up each other as time goes by and the princess finds out that all the history is true, heroes do become animals of lust but that is great when it relates to love of a partner, then has to protect him from all her schemes that she set in motion ages ago. I will leave it up to you to read as it is only 7 chapters so it still potentially can go any ware. By the way the art for the princess is really good but by age 30, I cringe thinking of the back trouble she will have.
Needs to have mature tag.
That’s my boy. 😍
Its like when boomers try to be trendy and go “Oh im sure kids these days would love this ugly sweater!”
Here, its authors going “my readers are definitely into cringey teens owning sex slaves! Lets add in some cheat skills too!!!”
shame its so short
I thought this was pretty decent for an H-web novel. It’s a very long H-web novel. It has much more plot development compared to most other H-web novels (although that’s not saying much considering how shallow nearly all of them are). It proceeded in a less predictable pattern than I expected (long term). This will probably not work well as a manga however because the web novel has pretty slow pacing for awhile. By the time the story starts getting going the manga will very likely be cancelled.
This story, as always, hits all the wrong buttons:
- A horny teenager (Realistic, but unnecessary as always).
- That said teenager is smart enough to properly and swiftly make use of those new abilities? (Bullshit, not gonna happen in rl)
- That said teenager is cunning enough to take advantage of its new situation? (Is a teenager, of course it wouldn’t be like that)
- Sex slavery as punishment? (Yeah, no, that’s just for evil perverts)
Well, it is not like I expected something better, but damn they went low with this one.
Somone gave it a 5, I gave it a 1. to even it out
This seems pretty interesting. I’ll have to bookmark.

Series like this that fire their proverbial golden bullet in the first chapter with a solid premise and reasoning are why there’s a huge surge of ‘Now I Just Sit Around and Chill After Reincarnating’ in the Isekai genre. Yes, you’re supposed to have a good hook right from the jump, AND you’re supposed to build on that. Like clockwork, that doesn’t happen; the manga industry luckily doesn’t have to worry about losing its spot as the reigning graphic novel medium because manhwa are too busy doing this same thing, but with reincarnators/cultivators, and US comics can’t string together enough books before the wheels fall off the wagon.
If you’re going to write an age-old plot about showing up in a world where the MC isn’t immediately showered with adoration, fine. If the extra twist is that when the MC is done saving the world, he’s going to get iced, so he needs to figure out how to avoid that, cool. Don’t then have this fish out of water spend his time going on endless internal monologues and soliloquies about how much his life now sucks, how terrible everyone is, how dare they use him and backstab him, and how he’d rather just be back in Japan, being a lazy bum reading manga and gaming, yet now he has to be ‘captain almighty genius’ that is so smart, he loops right back around to being an idiot.
I get that the source material is an 18+ novel, and I don’t care. If there was a ton of build-up and character development, most of it probably explaining WHY the MC would have every reason to do what he’s doing, why get rid of it? Why explicitly write a scene where the MC finds out the reason why the princess and those around her don’t trust otherworlders is because previous otherworlds have been screwballs, degenerates, and letches, and then have our homeboy just walk down the same path because ‘wow, I can’t believe their using me’, even as his combat trainers tells him in no uncertain words ‘we actually can’t touch the big evil bad demon flower, so we have to summon people because they aren’t classified as humans in this world, even if they clearly are’? Seriously, the fact that the MC gets upset at Ruid’s very clear explanation enough to drop him as a potential future comrade is the hallmark of ‘I’m the author’s avatar who is about to do some cringe nonsense all in the guise of some kind of commentary on life that boils down to the author being a self-aggrandizing idiot’.
You know how the MC could’ve gotten his win state? By simply not being a deviant, winning the people of the new world over, working hard, and THEN having a back-up plan to bounce once the quest was over and his summoners didn’t keep their end of the bargain. It’s not like the demon lord isn’t going to just be around for a while, and it’s not like people, even the best of liars, won’t change their minds slowly over time or can keep the lying up for years upon years since little inconsistencies will eventually pile up. Heck, just that as a story, where the MC gets he’s being leashed into a proverbial punji pit, playing along, and then flipping the script by being the one good hero, forcing the princess and her cadre to re-evaluate their stances; that would be a great read. It’s not new, but it’s compelling. Effectively wilding out because you can’t sign into FF14 for the foreseeable future and read the new weekly Shonen Jump is not.
People will like this, and it is the top of the slop heap and that’s honestly fine; there are far worse stories out there. It’s just a personal irritant that the go-to is to hand-wave the obvious problems in the writing and characters where nothing lines up, is diegetic, or makes sense. Settling for bad slop is stupid when you can have good garbage, which raises the baseline for everything as a result, instead of burying everything because how bad of slop it is acts as a lead weight, carrying everything down with it.
