Gave it a chance and I regret it, the Mc is flimsier than the plot of most Manhua, he has no real motivation outside of being “stronger” than his past self. The author seems to be a big fan of tell not show with everything, and with the few things that should’ve been explained like the cultivation system aren’t. I read brain rot all the time and that genuinely feels like a better use of time than this was

I hate bait and switch the most. This is just like the Witcher tv series. Main character becomes a side character on their own story.

It’s not as terrible as the other comments are saying. A solid 7/10. MC is OP and definitely advances at incredibly rapid paces. He has only one goal so he is extremely simplistic. On the plus side he is NOT afraid or even hesitant to kill his enemies.

I rate it 2 stars cause it’s Japanese manga and there must be harem. They can’t write a story where the OP mc look strong without having harem. If they add male characters then it be like Trump that surrounds himself with yes man losers so he will look the smartest in the bunch

It is a lot of generic ideas. The art is decent. The plot is well paced for this type of read. No the best but decent. I am enjoying it and the last chapter I read (20) is where it really seems to pick up with some good non tutorial island story.
