You know, it’s not wrong for the MC to be weaker than someone. However, making yourself look like a complete fool while apologizing for something you shouldn’t even be apologizing for is ridiculous. At least have some self-respect.

I don’t get the main character’s reaction. Why would he need a peace treaty if they’re not going to even leave the island? He should’ve stopped his knight and tried to ascertain could they really refuse to the Chamber’s notice, which was said to “force them into war.”
That was literally all he had to do. Instead, he stands there smiling like an idiot while his subordinate threatens people he knows nothing about. If they posed no threat the Chamber would’ve never sent them there. It’s obvious. How stupid can a MC be?
