This is awful writing, he looks at a group of people and is shocked they work well together when he met them maybe 2 hours ago. Among that is how he acts like he could never recover from being a slime hunter. He was a slime hunter for 2 months in a game that is 3 months old, he is not far behind at all and acting like he is a boxer with one arm. Without his item his life would have no meaning.
Yh figured as much, still though, even if this is a boss monster or whatever, one of the top guilds need to resort to these kinds of methods for a “beginner” monster. Sure it’s effective and no one actually needs to die, they’re just doing it to get more loot and because they’re **** heads through and through. I dunno if you drop items upon death, I’m assuming you don’t since that would make the game unplayable with the fact that the items are so rare and cost a lot.

I don’t understand why authors bother putting characters in a videogame if your going to make them scared of dying, like just put him in the world bro. I’m not even going to get into the freezing up part.
