Why kill the beast hunters? They kill beasts so you dont need mercenary or soldiers in that area. And if the noble owns that forest, he can just impose tax for each items the beast hunter sells. Its a win win for both sides. The hell?
This makes no sense. I like the story so far, but why are nobles attacking beast hunters living in the forest? It’s not explained. Also taking a small army alive is impossible, if your men’s lives are at risk you better be killing your opponents.

I am not enjoying the whole “don’t kill” rule in the village, they literally had a whole neighboring village massacred and they think that everything will be resolved if they catch some mercenaries? This doesn’t make sense for the world that the author wrote up until now.
