The uncle has his reasons for behaving like that, and the mc has no reason to humor him, given the fact he isn’t actually his nephew. Plus the mc has his own achievements worthy of pride. I wonder if someone messed with the common sense of knights while the mc slumbered, or they found a more efficient method. Perhaps it’s a ” more efficient” method, as in, it’s actually weaker although safer or simply inferior
