From what I can tell lifespan and injuries are separate but effect each other say you have 10 years of life span that means that in 10 years your time is up not sooner or later, enter the mc which you could call a variable because certain actions the mc takes can shorten or prolong a lifespan like with the recent incident I can’t remember what their lifespan was so I’m just gonna say they had 10 years remaining but the variable (the mc) interfered with them to cut it short (the gun shots) due to the fatal injury their lifespan was cut short to only 40 minutes
now, in this world there is a high likelyhood that time was always following a straight path so lifespans were always 100% accurate, but there is something I’m not as sure about the first scenario is that after the mc interfered the first time their lifespan became unbalanced as in the lifespan was 40 minutes but if a skilled doctor with cutting edge technology came to save them it would increase, but the more likely scenario is that it is 100% accurate unless the mc directly /indirectly interferes
now the way that the mc saved them was though increasing their lifespan if he used technology or medicine or something they would have healed naturally meaning their lifespan would have increased until their next fatal accident or something else fatal but since the method he used was increasing lifespan by a year instead of healing them you could say he pushed back their death date
(PS Just to make it clear everything I just wrote is only a theory I came up with after reading 46 chapters and could be completely wrong)

How’s this logic? 2 middle-aged men shot on the abdomen critically wounded. But their wound seemed accelerated and healed leaving a mark which mean he just closed the wound, shouldn’t they recover normally by then ? If he returned their body condition 1 year back shouldn’t the wound disappear? And what would happen after 365 days will the shot wound magically reappear and bleed them out?
