I honestly have to put up an issue here:
Remember that pendulum?
Yeah, how come the same thing didn’t happen with the knife?
If the whole “ah pendulum is slowed so earth’s rotation makes everything move around it” was not there, I would have been perfectly okay – we can just assume that its space-time is frozen from Lu Li’s frame of reference. But since they included that bit, they have to actually abide by those rules, right?
Eh, either way it’s just a minor pet peeve. I’m re-reading this for a second time, so let that speak about how good this novel is. I just specifically don’t like that pendulum scene.
