My prediction is something happens and MC ends up bring the child outside the trial which should be impossible. So like her parents are the only ones that can’t be saved, so after the village is safe she asks to be brought with the heroes, MC says yes if only to give her comfort until they’ve left the trial, but because MC was holding her hand or something, she was able to leave too.
Or something happens to the child, and MC uses one of his contract gems to try and save her by having her recover in the summon space, and her being contracted makes her able to leave the trial.
