Yeah, only thing thats unbelievable. But not by much: the MC says their photography hasnt developed much, but they’re able to have live video footage? Like wut lol
I suppose you could make it work by saying this auction house is incredibly advanced, and wide spread manufacturing doesn’t exist yet. However, this wouldnt stop artisans and merchants from developing small supply and engineering much.
I guess the society is fairly split into high cost engineering and low cost mana, so perhaps it still makes some sense? Anyways, that’s a bit of a weak part in the world building. Maybe they’ll explain more later on.
