We dont know much about anything of the past for MC and this detective as much we know from one or 2 chapters she just dont like the MC cause he was arrogant so she have judge him to be a criminal.
If she is so good detective then why not find out what the mc was doing and not just pick parts of it where she sees him.
Seems more like it’s personal and she does not care much other then just catching the mc while dont have any proof of his crimes. MC was there and different identities but even that is a stretch that is not well explained. Never mind that how did she even know that the mc is in that city ? As mc was going to the capital and cause of the train incident the plan was changed. While this detective said the city name where the mc landed like it was his destination. So she should also know that the mc is now the professor too when she have already made everything connecting this way.

A genius moron who can’t find normal details but makes some assumptions that make no sense but is what author wants.
1. There’s an illegal production was going on but she never tried to know why. She blamed him because she found him and his unconfirmed words made her think he’s the culprit.
2. She found a human doll but never tried to find out why it was there. And accepted that doll like it’s normal thing to produce these.
I know obsession towards someone can help you keep focus but that doesn’t mean you should stop thinking about possibilities.

Ayyy, it’s back! Anyway, I think the MC killing children thing is connected to either Hans, the demi human thingy, or connected to the automaton that were shown this chapter. MC should just have told the detective that what he did was the only way to prevent war but wtih his kind of halfly edgelord personality I can see why he didn’t. I still can’t get over his nicknames for each identity.
