See, aspiring authors should take note of this particular chapter’s story. It is a common trope to have a country with ludicrously evil and oppressive nobles, but then a disappointingly large number of those fail to have any consequences for that until the MC comes along. There is only so far you can push people before power fails to hold the commoners in check. It sounds like Durumang was such a country, where nobles would kill peasants for petty reasons and freely take things from them, and there was a violent uprising as a result. I approve of this.
