Okay, this is slightly less dildos than the previous one, but dildos nonetheless.
The rhythm is gone. After Maho appeared it all became erratic, but now it is one hectic mess, and I can’t help but think that it was dumbed down. The brainstorming session is ridiculous (has none of those idiots hear about Streissand effect?), Akane’s psychotic bitch vibes are getting tiresome and annoying pretty fast; Maho regressed to being a spank magnet after getting a bit serious and mature in the hospital; Shise’s cannibalistic instincts are not funny enough to save the whole thing. Character / relationship development which was nicely presented in early chapters (up to 23) is on hold. I hope it clears out soon, because I can’t see anywhere sensible where this might be going in its current state.
tl;dr: was meh, is meh, expecting another meh.

I like how she caused the issue, almost to sell herself as the situation as the new girlfriend. Quite the promotion right there

Even an elderly, limping male dog that randomly pees itself would be a better companion than Akane, so going out with any of the other girls would be an improvement. I approve of the gal scheming because it’s all for the sake of saving him from that demonic woman.
She’s setting herself up for heartache.
