I Got Sent to Another World, but It’s in the Mountains. In Reaction, I Choose Comfort Over Strength - Chapter 2
Comments for chapter "Chapter 2"
They seriously gave him the “piss off or I’ll stab you” power. 🤣
did he ask for XXL house? is flipping huge
that “hero killing” ability is both ominous and exciting
I still don’t understand his salt problem.
FFS! He lived on an island with the sea in walking distance!
Sure, he was barely able to feed himself and getting salt would take an extra day of work or two.
How to get salt with minimum work:
- Going to the sea
- Build* a minimal shelter there (about 1 day)
- Build a salt “pan”*² (doesn’t have to be that big, so about another day)
- Build a lean-to that prevents rain getting into the pan (one more day)
- Wait or build a second setup.
Why do you want a second setup? Harvesting salt out of the pan can take a while. You have to carefully scrape the new salt off.
Waiting for the water to fully evaporate can take weeks.
And, yes, there was a time skip, and he was there about 3 to 6 months, I guess.
Footnotes:
*= Is is build or built? I always mix them up.
*²= A salt pan is basically a flat hole in the ground. Where fill seawater and let it evaporate. However you need to compact the ground to minimise sand in your salt. And the salt from the first few uses also help to stick the sand together and increases water tightness. Having access to clay and build it out of that is a plus, but not necessary.
GAH! WEAKSAUCE! Those gods know damn well that his sister is a c*nt so they dragged him there to have him resolve her if she got out of control.
The wilderness survival aspect was cool! living in the mountains and off of nature makes you stronger! Instead they took all that away from the MC.
Weird turn from survival to less-than-zero-percent-chance-for-danger.
Way to become boring in seconds.
He didn’t care for the house he built and got op^a billion equipment.
Ooof. I don’t see, where this could get good again.
nice love it
Would’ve been better and unique if he’d woken up back in his homemade cabin, alone, meeting the gods all having been a delusion.
Am I the only one who couldn’t parse most of what those gods were saying? I kind of got the gist of it, but mostly it read like gibberish (or a bad machine translation).
To be a God? pffft. If God is something to be, there’s no God in the beginning and creation doesn’t exist.
MC finally got the approval of the gods to kill his sister.
Im sure i will never get boring, just give me farm to work
He’s comfortable but since he’s been bestowed everything isn’t it gonna get boring?

This is odd but interesting.
