Summary
A brief description of the manga I Got Sent to Another World, but It’s in the Mountains. In Reaction, I Choose Comfort Over Strength:
A protagonist enjoyed his Isekai life by stubbornly doing everything at his own pace. Abundantly surrounded by misanthropes, he tried to redo his life and have an amicable personality…Let’s leave it at that. When starting over with life, returning to one’s mental age was not guaranteed. Probably.

Well written story, interesting, nice world building, nice side characters developments and interaction, a little bit slow paced but it suits the title… Looking forward to the updates 9.5/10
I love this manga despite the ridiculously slow releases and the fact that I don’t particularly like MC. I like many of the side characters, who are wonderfully flawed and real. I like the magic system, which is rich and consistent, and not too fragile to survive an OP MC (although too many MCs might wreck it). I love the subtle storytelling; on the surface level, it seems like simple episodes of ‘introduce a problem, MC OPs it, side character finds out, MC reluctantly makes a new friend to keep them quiet‘. But over time, you’ll begin to notice unanswered questions, and as those answers trickle out, you realise that there were bigger stories going on in the background, and everything is not just what people said, even though they were mostly honest. I strongly recommend this even though it will try your patience.
Summary: MC gets an accidental isekai when a pantheon’s youngest god botches a hero summoning. When the pantheon eventually figure out he’s been summoned, they are very apologetic and offer to convert his remaining Earth lifespan into OPness, give him a home, and make sure he can live an easy life. They predictably go overboard, though it’s pretty clear they aren’t explaining everything. And, after a while, MC realises he might want a little adventure…
This is the third time I’m reviewing this; if anyone knows why comments sometimes disappear from the site, I’d appreciate a reply, thanks
I read a bit, stopped and I wish to ask: Does the MC ever meet his sister again?
Why is it marked as new in 2024, when the first translated chapter came out in 2021?
Or are measuring it in geological time scales? (If you compress the whole age of the earth into one hour, the homini take up the last second or so)
It appears that either the publisher, writer, or translators are choosing comfort over releasing…
sadly i never gonna read anything making 17 episodes in 2 year!
This is a pretty decent series but holy shit is the releases slow as hell and all over the place.
The protagonist might feel a bit “lifeless” but he’s let’s say he’s really level-headed. It’s not a bad manga so far. I do hope there’ll be more chapters in the future
