Okay, time to aggressively analyze.
Current Data:
- MC was not given any extra abilities. He was simply teleported into this world.
- MC does not have a status tab, and is exempted from damage due to Skills.
- When MC transforms into Otherworld beings, their skills are shown to an observer.
Thus, it can be concluded:
His teleportation was probably a mistake. They wanted to get Edward, but MC was brought along. He does not have a status tab because he does not exist within the system. The [Discernment] ability checks the system catalogue and sees the body part is part of a living being and matches the skill to the living being. It does not check if that body part’s species is consistent with the rest of the organism, because “why would it not be?” and so checking would be a waste of system resources.
