I Grow Stronger By Eating!

I know a lot of the reviews for this are mixed, but I feel that this series is a pretty good read. The pacing is balanced in that something is always happening, but there’s never a point where you forget how you got there.

As for the MC, I can definitely say he isn’t for everyone. Mild spoilers.
The story isn’t about him getting stronger and growing as a person, just getting stronger. He is undoubtedly an evil person, and there isn’t anything he isn’t willing to do to accomplish his goals. By the ene of the story, he gets exactly what he wants, is the strongest being alive, and had 0 repercussions for all of his past actions. This story is about following an unstoppable, emotionless monster grow while he interacts with real characters with real emotions. While he does have a backstory, in the grand scheme of things it’s practically useless. He never has a change if heart outside of meeting the Saintess candidate, and he only really lets her live for as long as he did because they were similar species.

The world is pretty bland as it’s just your average fantasy world. I did like how the goddess was portrayed as more a machine than a living person, but outside of that nothing is of note.

With the series being 100 chapters, it’s a pretty fun read.
