Good to see I’m not the only one who can’t stand this plot. Sorte is just vile and kind of ruins the story most readers would otherwise enjoy. This is not how slavery works. Wouldn’t it be considered illegal for outsiders the interfere with the master-slave relationship? Does logic matter?
