I’m really tired of pantheons of so-called gods who are so weak that mere demons tire them out. And they have to take centuries-long naps to recover…
That said, I sincerely hope the story doesn’t go anywhere near that theory.

Maybe the Relics are sleeping Gods recovering from a prior Demonic incursion watched over by the Titans, losing even one would be a BIG problem.
