I Picked A Hammer To Save The World

This one is okay. Overall I’d give it a 7/10.
I read to the current chapter (chapter 87).

Art is pretty good most of the time, every once in a while you might see some weird proportions (especially in the begining) but it’s solid for the most part.

The concept and plot is solid as well, it’s not original but it does what it sets out to do. It is kind of like a checklist though. There’s these disasters the MC has to stop when he regresses, and he just goes to each one in order preventing the disasters while getting stronger, and the bad guys are only just starting to change up their plans :/

The MC is a reckless meathead and has soooo much plot armor. Like he picks fights and provokes people should instantly f him up but he lives. Also gambling with your life when you are humanity’s last hope is kinda a bad idea (even though he was sent back in time because he was high risk high reward). I like MC’s personality in general though.

Main complaint is that the climax of the arcs get really messy. I don’t know what it is but they get messy AF and you don’t really know what all the characters are doing/talking about. I think it’s because all the main bad guys are boring AF and are just generic cult dudes with generic powers, so the author tries to throw in red herrings which just add for boring and confusing plot. My advice… Don’t get caught up in the confusion and gloss over it.

Also, did I mention all the bad guys are the same. Like copy pasted cult guys with purple magic energy attacks. And the ones that aren’t generic are just introduced and killed off right away.

Power system is also pretty meh. Qi? Mana? Aura? Soul power? Spirit power? Yup has them all. It’s not bad… But it just does borderline okay in everything (power system wise)

TLDR: overall solid and readable. Art pretty good. A bit generic… does everything okay, but doesn’t excell in one particular area. Story arcs and bad guys can be sloppy and boring at times.
