Man, I know I should’ve cringed but I didn’t, but cringe is the best word to use to describe how I felt reading this chapter. This chapter was a bit too… Cartoonish, and the way they wrapped up this Crumella Arc, is unsatisfying. I know Crumella is evil, but damn is she cartoonishly evil, literally monologued herself to death when she should’ve won if she did more “Doing” Instead of doing more “Talking”. Same with Gayle Aaron, like, this Slayer Sword and Crumellas Countermeasure is pretty genius, but Gayle Aaron AND The Slayer should’ve learned a valuable lesson, that you can’t save everyone, and sometimes, Sacrifices of the few are needed to save the Many. This would’ve been great Character development for Gayle Aaron to be a better ruler.
