First, a half a chapter of text wall to try to explain that she’s finally going to start on a sensible plan, one that she could have pursued from the beginning without all the drama. A plan that in no way required her to disturb the aristocracy of two countries and the church heirarchy, or crush a single person, by the way. Then, she immediately goes back to telling lies to manufacture more drama. MC is kind of the worst.
